What vehicle photos do I need to supply?

We need a minimum of 16 photos in your vehicle profile. These include photos with the following requirements:

Exteriors

We need to see:

• 4 exterior photos, one from each corner of the vehicle at a 45-degree angle
• The vehicle doors closed
• The number plate clearly displayed
• The full vehicle within the frame of the image

Please do not have any people or pets in the vehicle when taking these photos.

Seats

We need to see photos showing as much of the front and back seats as possible.

If your vehicle doors get in the way, open the driver-side doors, lower the window, and use the empty window frame to take the photos.

Dashboard

We need to see a photo showing these parts of the dashboard: the full steering wheel, the centre console and gearstick.

The best way to get these photos is by taking them from the back seat.

Boot interior

We need to see a photo of your vehicle boot when it’s empty.

Some boots are not well-maintained, and dealers will want to know the condition of your vehicle’s boot before they make an offer.

Alloy wheel photos

Please make sure your photos are taken head-on with the full alloy visible in each image.

We recommend cleaning the alloys beforehand.

Tyre treads

Please make sure your photos are taken from a head-on position – from the front and back of the vehicle – or between the wheel arch and the wheel.

Please note: we need to see the tread depth and condition.

Convertible cars

Please supply photos that show the vehicle with the roof up and down. Preferably, from the driver-side front.
